At 19 Months, Mollie:
- Sits on the potty several times a day and often goes in it.
- Loves when we sing songs and can do all the motions to "Wheels on the Bus"including opening and shutting the doors, wipers going "swish", babies going "wah", etc. She also wags her finger when you sing "No more Monkeys jumping on the bed!"
- Is learning to drink from an uncovered cup
- Can identify and say the names of most Sesame Street characters including "Elbo", "Ahh-eee"(Abby), Cookie, etc. She is also able to say the names of some of her friends from playgroup and class.
- Is continuing to learn her colors. Can identify purple, blue, green and sometimes pink.
- Has finally mastered her "M" sounds, which up until now she hasn't been able to do. This is exciting because she now says mommy (sounds like "Mahh--eee"), and says her name the exact same way. This has also brought about the cutest "meow"you have ever heard. But for some reason she will still tell you a cow says "booooo".
- Is still picking up more and more words every day. A current favorite word is "apple". She very occasionally puts two words together (example: "I see!" when playing peekaboo), but mostly just says one word at a time.
Adorable as always!
